They are still pushing forward. Making clear their goal was always the poison pills.

Thank you for explaining the nefariousness of this subject and what folks can do about it.

I called my state rep. I was respectful but I made it clear that I do not support poison pills built to enforce unpopular minority rule from a gerrymandered majority with moral authority. I conveyed that there may be a time when citizen-led initiatives may be the only way Republicans have their voices heard in a future that has moved on without them. I would think people playing a long game would want to keep all options opened for when the wind shifts direction as it’s doing now.

Thanks for your great work here on Substack!

Thanks for sharing this info and keeping up with what is going on. I was able to get my opponent testimony sent just in time. Senate President Matt Huffman (R) will be running for House and wants to take the House Speaker job from Jason Stephens (R). I am so tired of elected officials needlessly grabbing for power at the expense of citizens. It's one R trying to grab power from another R like a snake eating its own tail.

De Wine is a snake. He disguises himself as a "moderate" while promoting the evil intentions of the Ohio legislature.

DeWine accomplished his mission, now what?

>700,000 signatures were collected for the gerrymandering issue. The amended language to make the drawing of voting districts fair and nonpartisan was to be on the November ballot.

The sneaky, cheating politicians in Columbus got over on the Citizens of Ohio.

This was definitely under minded and should be repealed, but Ohio judges are primarily in the pockets of the right.

Help!!!
