All fall, a group of billionaires lectured the rest of us about why Trump needed to win.
Few were more nauseating than this guy.
I won’t relive it all, but here’s what he wrote yesterday.
Then he retweets updates on how financial markets worldwide are collapsing, which they did all night.
No shit!?
Read his words again: “we are heading for a self-induced, economic nuclear winter, and we should start hunkering down.”
Self-induced, you say?
Actually, YOU induced it!
Trump openly and repeatedly promised to do exactly what he’s doing. Despite that, you all spent your money and your energy and your credibility cheering it all on, attacking others, and convincing people to vote for this insanity. Then you cheered as he picked a cabinet full of unqualified, highly conflicted and tainted people.
What’s happening now, like past financial collapses, was not only entirely predictable—but was caused by reckless behavior by some of the wealthiest Americans.
Except this one was caused by reckless and mindless political activity—as opposed to reckless financial behavior.
And in both cases, everyday Americans get left holding the bag.
And as in the past, I can only imagine the big-shots who caused this once again scheming for a bailout. (Beyond even the billionaire tax breaks).
As today plays out, and the economy tanks going forward, don’t just blame it on Trump and Musk.
Reckless guys like this shoulder a huge part of the blame. As do all the Senators and House members who remain such cowards they’re going along with it all in silence.
Name them all.
