Enough said no on January 6 to stop that attack.
But yesterday, not a single House Republican could find the same backbone to say no to the tired tactic Trump has attempted for years….launching a sham investigation into a concocted scandal.

It’s a new low for a House majority that was already making a strong bid for the most do-nothing Congress of our lifetimes. And an ominous sign that, to a person, they can no longer find it within themselves to stand up to pressure to do what’s right.
Ultimately, knowing what else Trump will surely ask of these people, that’s dangerous.
The good thing is we have the power to stop them all over the next year. To put them back in the minority status they have so clearly earned.
