Nowadays I’m in bed by 8 p.m., but I may seek out any recordings available here in Connecticut. And having participated in the post card campaign for Issue 1, I felt connected to Ohio.

Republican voters in Ohio who either support the gerrymandering because of partisanship or approve of policies passed must understand that the time will come when Ohio's legislature starts passing laws that directly harm "their" livelihood and quality of life.
Abortion is the gateway...contraception, gay marriage, women's rights to work if they have children, quotas for women attending state college, restricting all but a handful from pursuing certain careers...I could continue for days.
Then what?
There will be nowhere to turn once Ohians have ceded absolute power.
God David, this is heartbreaking. The only thing we can do is keep working, keep trying and hold onto the hope that through our efforts, Democracy will prevail in the end.
I'm sending a plea to all of your followers who know friends or family that are living or studying abroad. There are 6.5 million US citizens abroad - our votes can have a huge impact. If you know anyone who votes in Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah & Virginia there are critical state-wide elections in November, and we can vote! THERE IS STILL TIME (barely) for overseas voters to request their overseas absentee ballots BUT THEY MUST HURRY! Go to https://votefromabroad.org to ask for the ballot. The ballots will be emailed to the voters - but in most of the above states the completed ballot MUST BE RETURNED TO THE STATE BY POSTAL MAIL. So, time is of the essence!
Vote from abroad has trained voter assistants standing by to answer any voter questions! Visit the site today and ask questions in the chat! We need to vote like our lives depend on it. Because they literally do.
