DC Democrats inability to provide such clear messaging is despicable, and I've no idea what Jaime Harrison is doing, but David has picked up the leadership mantle.

The states will determine our future.

Democratic supermajorities pass legislation that saves lives and protects human rights.

Supermajorities are won one seat at a time, one ballot measure at a time.

Corporations and billionaires can buy SCOTUS justices, but they can't buy our votes.

Rather than complain about DC Dems, lets use our power to spread effective messages (which Biden has adopted). Head on over to https://www.wemakethefuture.us/resources for most everything you need. The videos (scroll down a bit) are especially good.

Both are necessary...citizens need to act, but elected officials have to do everything possible to fight. That hasn't happened in DC, and it won't without unrelenting pressure.

No argument with applying pressure to drive more action - they've done a lot in many key areas, sufficient democracy buttressing unfortunately lagging (Thanks Manchin/Sinema...).

And, complaining about DC messaging isn't applying that pressure, it's just wasteful carping.

We listened to an NPR/WVXU discussion the other night with Mike Curtain (former D state rep) representing the No vote and State Auditor Keith Faber representing the Yes vote. It is clear proponents are trying to make this a hyper partisan issue with their comments about "the extremist liberal agenda" or "stopping far left radicals from pushing the tyranny of the majority."

Folks - Dems in Ohio have been living under the tyranny of the majority for more than a decade due to unconstitutional gerrymandering and bribery schemes.

This is NOT a partisan issue, it is about at a time when so much of our power to the people has been eroded, the OH-GOP response is to ask us to hand over even more of our power to them.

We can have an honest discussion about the need (if any) to raise the threshold from 50% to some other number, but it should NOT be decided at a low turn election. This is a bogus solution to a nonexistent problem.

It's why I'm over the moon that the Protect Choice Ohio coalition got signatures from all 88 counties to thwart the GOP's efforts to allow the ballot measure to move forward.

It's going to be a constant battle for our democracy, and sadly dems and most Ohio voters weren't paying attention for too long and are really behind the 8 ball. But we're on to them now and need to expose them.

If anyone votes Yes to own the libs, they're cutting off their nose to spite their face.

I've mailed 250 postcards so far and have mailed 80 of 100 letters via VoteForward encouraging infrequent democratic women voters to vote no. Please don't let up - it's going to take all of us to push back this power grab.

I’m inspired. 😊

I find it funny that the "yes to 1" yard signs say "Protect our Constitution", when that's exactly what voting No to Issue 1 means!

Maybe a message to say ‘Yes’ means ‘Yes sir- I’ll bend over & have another’

No means ‘Hell No. We’re not going to take it!’ 😈
