What can we do to gain a wider knowledge in Ohio of Blue Ohio. I recently became a member of the Democratic Party’s central committee. I was surprised the many members I had a chance to talk with did not know about Blue Ohio or the Blue (state) movement. The I attended the a joint rally of the Ohio LWV the IBEW and AFL-CIO to promote our Issue 1. It was organized by the Ohio chapter of LWV and hosted by that’s organization’s president. During the Q&A period, a person how many districts in Ohio didn’t have a Fr

Democrat running against the Republican candidate. The host did not know. I turned to the questioner and gave him my best 80-yr-old memory of our Blue Ohio 2020 verses 2024 numbers to which he asked what is Blue Ohio.

I then raised my hand and was recognized by the host, I gave my Blue Ohio statistics to which the the host shouted at me to sit down saying I was suppose to only ask Issue 1 questions! ???? Very puzzled by that response.

At the con of the event numerous people came to me for more information.

Now that was two places where folks should be aware of the Blue State movement and where not. We need to fix this.
