Thank You, David, for speaking out on behalf of Ukraine, this morning β˜• I'm sick over the language used by Vance, trump and, well, pretty much this whole administration with regards Putin and trump, trump and Putin etc. Where's the backlash?why isn't this the Top News story? I can't imagine what the people of Ukraine are thinking right now, and the World 🌎 Outstanding article and will reStack ASAP πŸ™πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

I have been urging the same thing on various Substacks. Watched Susan Rice on The Contrarian. Great. But I wrote that we need her plus 250 of her fellow, former leaders from the political, military, economic and social spheres to speak out en masse.

Hear! Hear! A lot of people, myself included, are wondering where the hell did ALL but the very worst of our β€œleaders” go! Are they all dumb enough to think they’ll escape this mump madness unscathed?

It’s maddening. And we need the journalists in areas that are owned by Sinclair to write stories on what is going on. I randomly check the headlines of Sinclair news sites and it’s like we are in a different world. I understand they might not have the deep pockets to put their jobs on the line. But we need bravery from every one.

On his best day ever (which I can't remember) Rob Portman was an empty suit with full pockets.

Senator Portman was disappointing in his near 0 opposition to Trump's immorality and criminality, which can only be described on a scale from lukewarm to nonexistent. He has been (at least publicly) oblivious to reality that the head of his party is a narcissistic sociopath and pathological liar. But as a legislator, he was way above average in his intellect and understanding of various issues, and represented Ohio with honest experience that is greatly lacking in the two we have in the Senate now.

I certainly cannot comprehend why he is not speaking out now, but I hope he will feel compelled to do so before it's too late for Ukraine, which frankly could be tomorrow, if it wasn't yesterday!

I called Portman Photo Op Rob. We would post photos of visits to businesses, etc. But we would never do real town halls and listen to his constituents.

Absolutely, David. I know it’s a five-alarm fire when you use the F-bomb.

Brilliant, David, as usual. Even if any of them spoke up individually it would be helpful. Together would be much better, as they might have enough social media followers in total to get some traction there (because those who should hear them probably aren't reading normal newspapers or watching the PBS News Hour). And it's especially annoying that the people who should be speaking out here apparently are not even considering running for office, so what are they afraid of?

Yes I want to see this everywhere. EVERYWHERE.

I agree! Where is Obama? Where are the Clintons? I sure hope they’re all somewhere conferring about how they’re going to save our country?

They were at the DNC convebtion and at rallies. The important question is where were the 46% nonvoters in 2016 and the 33% nonvoters in 2024. They were a significant factor in both election's result. Are they still hiding? Do they regret their inaction when it would have made all the difference we needed?

Hard to β€œlike” all this but there isn’t another symbol to thank you for sharing this important and devastating information.
