The ONLY truth here is, Ohio voters said, "Get your lying political ass out of my doctor's office, and out of my bedroom!" Yost, just like the rest of the upper echelon Ohio government, is as corrupt as they come.
I would hope the 24hour waiting period would be a thing of the past once the Amendment was in place. That needed to be discarded as law……as well as all the other odious impediments put in place by the religious zealots now populating our state house.
David Pepper, so glad you are in Ohio "fighting the good fight."
We need to get rid of the Electoral College. This "thing" of only focusing on a handful of "swing" states each year instead of the high population centers is unjust.
It results in "dark" money being poured into state races to control state legislatures and Congressional seats. The amount of money poured into US Senate campaigns for example, like Kentucky and North Carolina,, is obscene and wasteful.
And for heaven's sake, give Washington, DC statehood! There are more residents there than in Wyoming.
Women never actually enjoyed the benefits of the Casey “no undue burden” standard. Republicans never met a burden that they felt was “undue” when writing laws to restrict access to abortion: waiting periods, requiring the second visit to be with the same doctor, medically unnecessary tests, requiring doctors to have hospital admitting privileges, the width of the clinic hallways, requiring the clinic to be a minimum distance from a school, requiring the clinic to be located on the first floor of a building, requiring clinics to be setup as expensive medical-surgical centers able to provide open heart surgery (including drugs which expire and are never used in providing an abortion and have to be replaced), and this isn’t a complete list. Allowing protestors to harass patients outside the clinics with loudspeakers, gory pictures, and other intimidation — no other business would be allowed to be harassed in these ways. There is so much nonsense and so many lies hurled at women who just want to live their lives and mind their own business.
Yost is obviously working fast to get this to the Republican majority on Ohio"s Supreme Court. To prevent more erosion of abortion rights in Ohio, we must elect ALL THREE Dems this November.
Thom Hartmann has a weekday radio show (available also on YouTube and online Free Speech TV) from Noon to 3 pm ET. I've listened / watched him for many, many years. Highly recommended you listen in every weekday.

No need to choose. He is always lying, unless he gets exactly what his twisted little heart wants.

He obviously didn't gauge what Ohioans wanted very well back in November and I love it. We don't want to go back to Roe. We want to go further.

That picture of him looks like lives in the old wild west.
