Thank you for doing this so quickly! I have just emailed all the members of the school board urging them to read this before the meeting. I hope others will do the same.

My one question is as public schools are in need of funding, therefore putting school levies on the ballot, are these levies going into EdChoice bucket of money?

One line item in a budget that is hundreds of pages. Every dollar that goes to vouchers is a dollar less in that fund. Upper Arlington gets about $850 per student from that fund. That VERY SAME STUDENT gets $8500 from the state to attend church school. Draw your own conclusions.

Hope this reporting wakes up Texans opposed to Abbott’s voucher program. The only fact that’s different is the state. The crooks are the same in both instances, but some of their faces and names may be different.

Again, I’ll restack for Ohio voters. You do such a good job of sorting out sense from nonsense (which, by the way, I spent some time watching today with the utter waste of Congressional time by the committee attempting to bring contempt charges against Merrick Garland).

Am I reading the resolution wording correctly that districts that join the lawsuit have to pay $2/student annually to be part of the coalition against the voucher program? What does that funding pay for?

Great reporting David! Our next problem is the Lifewise religious education that public schools are offering. Plain Dealer did an expose on them a few weeks ago.
