The people of Ohio have a very strong advocate in you, David. And the rest of us should take heed and check our own State’s policies. Voting should be made as simple as possible once you have legally registered. These officials need to be purged!

These purges are no difference than theft, they’re stealing peoples representation. Until society starts treating it like theft, with either arresting those doing it or using our second amendment rights to protect their possessions, it’s not going to end.

These are violent act we need to start treating them that way.

Everything you’ve written about the Ohio GOP legislature’s refusal to comply with the state constitution would indicate that this purge is the latest example of their lawlessness.

Wonder how many of the purged are Democrats.

We need (demand) a proportionality study for this "purge." Are there proportionally the same percentage of voters in GOP areas purged? Unfortunately, they don't mind taking a few of their own out to depress the voting.

Vote.org. You can check if you are registered, see who will be on your ballot, register online, and get an absentee ballot. I live in Florida. They changed absentee ballots from lifetime to having to reregister for an absentee ballot after every election cycle. They sent an email. I knew I had previously signed up for absentee voting but still decided to open the email. I’m sure there were plenty of people that discarded it thinking they had already registered.

Every time I see the words “common sense” I smell a Republican trying to blow smoke up my ass.

Sadly, my fear is Ohio is not the only state purging voters from rolls for the usual reasons plus purging on days that end in “y”, well, just because that’s what they do. There are going to be long lines in November, surprised and angry voters, and tossed mail-in ballots that no one knows about.

The current administration is going to go down in Ohio history is one of the most corrupt. It is really a remarkable lineage. We're still trying to sort out the HB6 scandal, which goes as high as the Governor.

Attempted to share this on Facebook. It evidentally violates their community standards. Facebook is getting out of control with their algorithms.

I don't live in Ohio, forgive me if I missed it, but are their lawsuits being filed to prevent this? And what is being done to make sure these people are re-registering? Obviously relying on a biased S.o.S. will not suffice!

Sadly, many Ohio Republican incumbents have decided that in many cases our own laws do not apply to them. They continued to use illegal district maps even after the Ohio Supreme Court told them not to. They simply don't care about voters anymore, only power and privatizing taxpayer dollars. In most cases voters can't hold them accountable due to extreme gerrymandering. We have a ballot measure on in November to fix this, but I'm certain they'll try to screw that up also. Ohio has been labeled the most corrupt state for a reason.

Tried to share this and FB removed it as spam - misleading links or content. “Taking people to a website that is significantly different than shown” I think FB is wrong, but I had no option to protest it.

Is there something we who do not live in Ohio can support what’s right, e.g., calling or writing the relevant responsible party/parties?

A class action lawsuit against Larose and dewine should be filed. Citizens of Ohio vs SoS and Ohio Governor. Anyone know of a good law firm?

David, Are you able to post this on Instagram and/or Threads?

Urge people in your life to check their registrations so they can re-register before November if they need to.
