I’m 85, my parents were card-carrying communists. Those McCarthy years were during my impressionable teen years. Bad as the Red Scare years were, especially for those individuals and agencies relentlessly persecuted AND prosecuted by Hoover’s FBI and Roy Cohn’s legal skills, the then coconspirators were “pikers” compared to Trump-Musk and their co-conspirators, the 24/7 media cycle of mis- and disinformation AND social media. Those among Trump’s enablers, elected and appointed officials, including judges, are equally culpable for the president’s unconstitutional actions. I’m not a “believer” so the best I can say is I hope to live to see the whole bunch of them held criminally responsible by juries of their peers, with convictions upheld by the courts, up to and including the SCOTUS.
Smells like Trump spirit. Trump smells like Roy Cohn spirit.
