This madness will continue until enough folks rise up and say enough is enough. We need to build now at the local level (school boards, city council) and not ignore those elections. Ohio is a gerrymandered cesspool of corruption and having the two totally unqualified senators that we do is a disgrace! Sometimes it feels totally hopeless, but if we build from the bottom up, I believe that we will be able to affect change higher up. We must start now and not wait until the mid-terms. Get involved locally with your city Democratic club, Indivisible or any other advocacy group. And, try to volunteer at a food bank, food kitchen or anywhere else that serves those in need. You can help those who are already marginalized and will surely suffer more during this terrible time of cuts to the basic humanitarian needs of people.
