HB-1 scam has been pushed by Big Tech because it is profitable in the short run. All for the benefit of stockholders, pension fund managers, and in the end…American and Global investors.
I just read “Winners Take All.” It’s a scathing analysis of b/millionaires who have meetings like Clinton’s Aspen group which makes the rich feel less guilty but still keeps the rest of us poor or struggling.
I honestly don’t think that most people in OHIO even know about the BILLION-DOLLAR windfall to private (mostly-RELIGIOUS) schools in the form of vouchers & construction of new buildings. I, myself, just found out the depth & breadth of it in recent months. 😳🤯
It’s an absolute travesty!! What happens [in many states] is that it starts small, with some vouchers to get people out of really bad situations and we say, “Well, that’s justifiable & necessary.”
Then, it slowly expands over the course of *many years*, until we get to the BILLION-DOLLAR 💰💰💰budget that we are looking at currently. I mean, it’s sickening & repulsive!
AND…nothing is going to change as long as this state is SO grotesquely gerrymandered…AND…the gerrymandering will continue as long as the GOP puts false & misleading language on the ballot [to end gerrymandering], as they did this past election ~ courtesy of our illustrious Sec of State, Frank LaRose! 🤥🤥🤥
I tell you, I feel like I am living in some dystopian nightmare that’s not going to end anytime soon!! 😈☠️👹👺🥵
David, we/you need to attack this issue. We can only win back the working class by fighting for the working class and their children that can afford to go to college. You and all Dems need to be screaming about this at the top of our lungs about this issue (like you did with "Trump's trade war" which you were wrong about)!!! If companies need a trained workforce they need to support the American education system with their tax dollars. If companies post jobs that require a college degree, that job needs to pay enough to monetize the cost of an American college education. Bernie Sanders has the best political instincts of any Dem in the game today. Get on the bandwagon and win some fucking elections.
