Hi David

Glad you are tackling Project 2025. We have a full public educational and mobilization nonpartisan national campaign to stop Project 2025, with bullet summary breakdowns of every chapter and much more at:

www.stopthecoup2025.org.

We also amplify ally news and resources, messaging, social media memes, webinar links for people to help sound the alarm. Also in Spanish.

Keep up the good work!

In resistance,

CDC gets mentioned most prominently for taking a hit under Project 2025, but so would the NIH, USFWS, USDA animal health scientists (most USFS scientists within USDA might be spared only because many are pro-logging), FDA, BLM conservation scientists (it was BLM that got moved from DC to Grand Junction, CO and many staff quit rather than move), NOAA, EPA, NPS, and HHS.

Many careers would end, potential hires for even non Schedule F positions would probably slow to a trickle, and imagine the hiring and replacement chaos every four or eight years with a change in administration (good, bad, or worse).

Of course now that six Injustices on the Supreme Court have ruled that agency experts are not qualified and not experts at all and Congress must write extremely specific and detailed legislation so implementation does require further administrative agency regulation or expertise for judicial resolution, there will be less of a need for such science experts. Crazy. [Substack algorithms and readers, that’s sarcastic commentary, not POV.]

Reading Project 2025 in your fiction book makes it much easier to understand what is being set forth. Thank you for your fiction and nonfiction. It is much appreciated.

Thank you, David, for making Project 2025 come to life with your story. I, for one, am absolutely terrified. I have downloaded Project 2025 and am going to read it, beginning with the pages you noted.

Yet the agricultural community hangs on to extreme conservatism. Dems need to buy ads in Farm Bureau newsletters, FOX, and right-wing radio to highlight the attacks on agriculture!
