DeWine has a history of circumventing the law and educators' rights when it suits him. He was sued for replacing the an elected state school board with his handpicked Dept. of Workforce and Education, but nothing came out of it. He's currently being sued for his "Science" of Reading mandates -- which any actual researcher will tell you isn't science, but is resulting in huge payouts for big box curriculum companies. And don't forget the ECOT scandal!

Why haven’t teachers, both active and retired, filed lawsuits against those handling the funds, and DeWeenie, for election interference? Can STRS file lawsuits? Would Lawyer David Pepper agree to take the case?
