I’m a big fan of yours in Strongsville. Great story about your mom!

I’m on the board of Hair To Stay, hairtostay.org, the first and only national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping low-income cancer patients afford scalp cooling, a treatment that can dramatically reduce chemotherapy induced hair loss. As well as subsidizing the treatment, we help to raise awareness and offer information and support to patients considering the use of scalp cooling to keep their hair during chemotherapy.

Can you please share with your audience that these subsidies are available to help low income patients?

Let me know if you’d like to speak with the founder or if we can provide additional info.

A wonderful story about your mother.

The right-wing majority of SCOTUS took the narrow question of whether plotting a coup is an official presidential act, and to disguise the absurdity of accepting the case, the majority is pretending that this is a momentous legal case.

This farce is enabled by the cringeworthy coverage by legacy media.

If the Democrats manage to win in 2024, Court reform must be a priority, otherwise we're just postponing vs stopping autocracy.

Bravo to YOUR mom as she is giving this alternative a voice! We are Hairtostay.org and we provide subsidies plus information for those wishing to understand more about cooling caps. The average age for subsidies has continued to age younger, specifically early to mid thirties when women are initiating their career and families. It is a game changer for anyone who wishes an alternative during their cancer treatment to keep their identity as a healthy individual versus the cancer pronouncement of hair loss. And YOUR mom is generous to those who need this resource of knowledge and care for upcoming treatment! SO PROUD!

David. Your dad is a good and great man I had the pleasure to work with a few times. But he outkicked his coverage when he married Francie. A great lady. Glad both are doing well.

I listened to the SC hearing arguments for presidential immunity and wondered how the male justices can claim with a straight face that they have a law degree and understand our constitution. (The women on the SC seemed rational, the men were willing to pretend there is some issue at hand.)

Of course, there was no need for the SC to even hear this farcical immunity case. We see what the men on the SC are doing; any 8th grader knows that no one is above the law. Yet the SC took the case to pretend there is some issue for the ages that needs to be decided when — in our country’s entire existence, over 200 years — it has never been a problem. (The closest we’ve come is impeaching a president for lying about a blowjob, which was so disgusting even the Republicans couldn’t go through with convicting him, but I digress.)

Justice Alito flat-out lied when he wrote the Dobbs ruling to overturn Roe. It’s clear that Alito is willing to let pregnant women twist in the wind rather than receive life saving medical care — even in cases where the fetus has no chance to live. The abortion bans are written to deny all abortions, just to control women who have the audacity to want to live. But Alito and his cronies are fine with that; they have shown us what “pro-life” really means: let the women suffer, let the women die.

Then, the SC takes the immunity case and so obviously helps the former POTUS delay accountability for his coup attempt.

Of course, the former president should be careful what he wishes for — he’s not in office now — giving unlimited power to one’s opponent could be fatal.

It all comes down to the need to elect and appoint people of good character. People with integrity. Honorable people who respect the rights of others and support our laws. Donald Trump fails by any measure on all these points. His MAGA supporters, and now the SC, are helping Trump subvert democracy in itty bitty ways, but it has a cumulative effect.

The solution is to vote the assholes out of office — to include those who have stood by silently and kept their head down. If they are not speaking out and helping to solve the problem, then they have become part of the problem and must be voted out of office.
