I called Rep Mike Carey's office in DC the other day ~ spoke to a staffer ~ I have to say he was cordial and respectful in our conversation. At the end I asked, "WHEN will Mike Carey be having a town hall?" The young man replied (kind of eagerly), " Oh! If you would like to sign up for our NEWSLETTER, you can keep informed of what the congressman is doing!"
I responded firmly, "NO! I want Mr. Carey to answer questions that people ask him IN PERSON!"
To which he replied rather deflatedly, "Oh, ok, I will pass along that message." And that was the end of the call.
So... guess when the next town hall is going to be??? LOL ~ hmmm... maybe the twelfth of NEVER...?? Idk ~ but I wouldn't be holding that precious breath of yours!

Is anyone else having trouble connecting with the links that David shares? I get an error message that his Substack has redirected me too many times. It suggests that I 'delete cookies' which I did, but still getting message. It's making me a little paranoid...
I would definitely attend a town hall, but my congressman (Balderson) refuses to hold one.
Turner hasn't help one in years and is never in the office, You can go and speaker to a staffer.
Hold on yourself, and invite your Congressman to attend. Invite as many as you can, see if he or staff shows up.
