I thank you, David, for taking the time to listen, digest and regurgitate with notes the madman’s speech from January 6th, 2021. I am not sure why it is so hard to believe what our ears hear… I have heard/seen/believed the derangement of Trumps’s messages and understood the threat he posed from the beginning. But others have found inspiration and motivation — THAT is what I struggle to understand. Time to réengage our civic selves. Hanging on to my Pepperspective (and your 2 books).
Absolutely need to keep this in the forefront of everyone’s mind. Thank you, David, for continuing your amazing work for all of us. Hope you had some anti-nausea medicine at hand for this one.
Ironically, Trump coined the battle cry for patriotic Americans who want to protect our liberal democracy and the Constitution in 2024: "And we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore…."
Thank you for isolating the terrifying and stark evidence of Trump’s execution of the Jan. 6 insurrection. Here’s a link to Nancy Pelosi’s narrative of how this terror played out inside the Capitol:
You know, the section of this "speech", where the idiot starts talking about how FRAUD should be dealt with more harshly by the law, needs to be sent to NY AG James, and Fulton Co. DA Willis. Perhaps they could use it in their closing arguments!
This was a real eye opener. I had never heard the speech in full, because he is so rambling and can’t stand to hear his voice for more than a few minutes. Of course, the full speech is more unhinged than I expected, more incendiary and alarming. This effort was well worth the time you spent on it.
I’m even more concerned this time about Russian propaganda and the impact China is having on the TikTok generation.
All I can say is I thank God for Taylor Swift.
We must all be fully prepared to get out the vote and change minds whenever possible. f
1) Thank you David PepperM👏👏👏 And now ALL: insert the following in the timeline BEFORE the Speech of an autocratic evil President whether he is a madman or not: **By the time of the speech Trump had already lost in 61 or 62 cases throughout the country and within the state and Federal systems ALL of his court cases and had NEVER ONCE HAD HE PROVEN ELECTION FRAUD or an election stolen by Biden either at all or in the numbers needed to show that it would have made a difference in Trump's favor. (And nor had he proven that the voting machines changed votes.)
THEREFORE: Once Trump started speaking in the tine and wording he chose he had already proven himself a) Not to support the Constitution, his oath and not to follow the advice of his lawyers that counseled that he had lost the Election; b) Not to concede the election he had lost and not to participate in the peaceful transfer of power; c) Not to follow the rule of law where be ignored the facts that he lost in court after court; d) to commit an act of insurrection by advocating extra-judicial --and impliedly and potentially violent ways of attempting to redress grievances by asking "crowd control to "take the mags down because those with weapons were not out to get him"-- "strength" to interrupt Congressional proceedings to count the certified Electors.
Once Trump started that speech he [further] violated his Oath of Office to uphold the Constitutional structure for passing Presidential Power peacefully.
2) NOW go on to read what David Pepper published. It is chilling and the words and thoughts and advocacy of an insurrectionist that just happened to be the President of the US and that consciously chose to ignore the US Constitution and his Oath that day. His right of "free speech" did not permit insurrection and aid and comfort to other insurrectionists. HpThat day, 1/6/21, he effectively yelled "fire" in a crowded theater.
3) NO, "the people" should not get a do over of the 2020 election: Trump should be removed from every primary and general election ballot in 2024 because "We the people" voted decisively in 2020 by millions and millions of lawfully certified votes.
One can only hope and pray, work hard to get people to understand that democracy is at stake and then GET EVERYONE to the polls and voting for Biden. It is beyond my comprehension why ANY Latins / Hispanics that escaped dictators, such as from Cuba and Venezuela, and Haitians that escaped Baby Doc Duvalier / Ton Ton Macoutes would even consider the authoritarian / would-be dictator Trump. But both Trump and DeSantis just about have Latins / Hispanics locked up. The Haitians seem much smarter about their voting. (But then again: they have more at stake and a Trump will send them back to one of the poorest countries in the world much faster simply because 99% of the time Haitians are black.)
Chilling. It is all there. He always says the quiet part out loud. Also he uses so much projection. Watch what he says about the left. It is a a clear projection.
This is stunning, David! Thank you for the hard and challenging work of doing this for all of us. I didn't think I needed any more "proof" - and certainly not any convincing, but this is, as you say, "chilling" to say the least.
It is painful to read this speech once more. If you read or listened to Trump's conversation with the GA SOS, Brad Raffensperger, covered by the news media January 3-5, you had some clues of how desperate Trump was to overturn the election. His warm-up band of merry co-conspirators were very successful in urging violence at the Capitol. It is inconceivable how we escaped that attempted coup to find ourselves under the reign of a second Trump presidency.

Professor pepper is always about what are we going to do about it. I think everybody should get a copy of this by Timothy Snyder.

Thanks. Unexpectedly chilling. And hard evidence.

It’s like reading a nervous breakdown in progress. I really don’t know whether there’s been a weaker, more fragile person in American public life.

Excellent additions. Now please tell me Miami-Dade could go for Biden this time. 🙏

Thank you, every lie is a confession with him, and with that lets do another substitution; NY to POS ~ 'And fraud breaks up everything, doesn't it?'

Can you provide some more info on the GA voter purge of 360,000 voters? Was it recent?
