As I’ve said before, David, Ohio is lucky to have you. And when you win in November the rest of the country can learn how to fight gerrymandering; and this disgusting display of hypocrisy will hit the history books as a prime example of corruption.

As Maya Angelou said, "When they tell you who they are, believe them the first time." Corrupt GOP members have told us repeatedly of their unwillingness to represent us. Their first swipe at the amendment language is as crooked as we would expect from anyone scrambling to preserve their unearned power and influence. The fear must be palpable, so we can expect them to strike out in defense and without restraint. Buckle up friends, this is going to be one hell of a ride!

David, Thank you for once again shining a bright light on the darkness that is the heart of the Ohio GOP. I do believe Ohio voters are smarter than the GOP incumbents think they are. The two former Issue 1 ballot Initiatives showed that. I certainly will be printing the original language of the anti-gerrymandering amendment on one side of a paper and the ballot language on the other and educating everyone I know before they go to vote. Also, I believe that putting partisan labels on the Supreme Court justices will actually help us given how unhappy the majority of Americans (even Republicans) are with the Federal Supreme Court's GOP majority. The backlash from that corruption will, I believe, actually push voters towards Democratic justices at the State level in an effort to keep the GOP in check. Frankly, the boneless chicken thing actually helps us also simply by putting on full display the inexplicable idiocy of the GOP members of the Court. Any five year old will tell you that boneless really does mean boneless. When Miriam Webster trolls you, there is no denying you look pretty stupid and it's now all over the internet. The voter suppression tactics, particularly the state photo ID/Driver's License and no County ID allowed for veterans will also hurt the GOP vote in rural areas. I saw that in real time working the polls at the recent Primary. On the other hand, I'm seeing a level of Dem grass roots activity in Clermont County I've not ever seen since I moved here in 1997. We're knocking doors tomorrow and I'm so excited. If we keep the pedal down through election day I think we can blow the roof off this thing! If Wisconsin can get it done, so can we.

Nothing those crooks do ever surprises me.

Who seems to be protecting his own son who is an Ohio Supreme Court Justice and his daughter’s career aspirations to be a judge by continuing to participate in this criminal scandal shamelessly perpetuated by Matt Huffman? This gang openly defied the Ohio Supreme Court repeated unconstitutional district map rulings. Matt Huffman blatantly tricked and mislead trusting Ohio voters who had repeatedly voted in support of fair districts. Now along with Frank Larose, the aforementioned, et al, tirelessly work to keep politicians in charge of manipulating their own district lines to stay in power. What does Fran think of this?

I can imagine how frustrated you are by this considering how I feel after reading it. I can’t get over how dishonest the politicians have been and are continuing to be with the complete failure to follow previous amendments and now with this twisting of language….. 🤢

This is one of those cases where your advocacy should consist of…”Vote YES on Qustion 1”…or NO, depending on the wording. The mealy mouthed summary doe nothing but obfuscate.

That is up to us... to say Vote YES! I appreciate knowing what David has laid out because there are some who will ask questions and I need to be prepared... but YES I will simply tell people, please vote YES to People not Politicians!

So audacious of our ‘leaders’ to think we are stupid, can’t read, or think, about issues important to us! They will find out that ignoring the will of the majority of Ohio citizens could easily lead to their own unemployment! Ohioans can do this!
