I’m in an +R13 district due to gerrymandering but slugging it out! I had an event this past weekend with a blowup Trump doll and Jan6 Patriots letter writing campaign booths. It’s crazy out here! But I got as many Democrats out here in my booth as a I could and we are getting traction! Hang tough y’all!
Thank you, David, for your continuing efforts to end the chokehold of Republicans on our Statehouse. Ohio is purple, not red, and we're finally on the road to displaying our true color!
That's fantastic! Now if it can just be replicated in other GOP states it will give us a fighting chance. Jess Piper is leading the charge here in Missouri. We can do it!
Jess Piper is fighting the good fight throughout Missouri and getting a lot of interference as she works to get a ballot initiative going. They make it harder because they require each county to have its own petition and the "ins" are doing their best to interfere.
Here in Centre County PA we have had pretty good success but nobody wants to take on our "representative" in Harrisburg -- he is firmly entrenched and has support elsewhere in the multi-county district. Rob Zeigler did it in 2022 but didn't get much $$ support. Now he has started Progress Centre to raise support for local candidates.
Funding and volunteer support is deeply needed in a Gerrmandered state like Ohio.
There are many Democratic State Rep candidates that are are unable to compete due to lack of funding. I appreciate you and the Blue Ohio team more than you know!
