It seems especially important to broadcast the religious aspect of our current political divide. The hypocrisy of so-called Christians supporting the serial sinner is so blatant as to be laughable. But watching a recent interview terrified me when I saw them twisting themselves into pretzels to excuse their “leader’s” immoral life.
David, I am deeply grateful for your wisdom in bringing renewed attention to MLK's incredible Letter. As Katherine expressed, despite a long life (76 yr) of continued but faltering efforts to work for racial justice, this was the first time I took the time to thoroughly read the entire Letter, which so clearly articulates the justification for all our efforts, then and NOW.
