We just killed the voucher bill in New Jersey. It was an all hands on deck and we were fighting Dems. Ugh. Part of the success was being able to point to the disaster voucher schemes in other states - poor student outcomes, exploding state budgets, the vast majority of voucher users never had their kids in public schools, and so on.
Wow, all that is hard to believe. But you survived. And your daughters don’t have to live through what you did. That church is stuck in the Middle Ages. You are a light shining on and revealing all that abuse.
I can see why so many of those “bible bangers” are in the MAGA cult as well. They share the same values, if you can call them that, and behaviors. Keep shining that light!
