I was happy to see the strong showing even though a loss. I wrote postcards with Postcards to Voters group for Michael.

So Ohio is starting to edge towards purple. Never thought I’d see it. as the number of those MAGAts gradually start to dwindle and join the ranks of uncommitted, anything can happen. Ohio will still vote for the felon, but if Sherrod can survive, Ohio may indeed turn more purple. GO DEMS!

Curious if this district was impacted by the illegal maps? Could this seat have flipped with the rejected fair maps?

Thanks for this analysis. Like others here, I wrote postcards to OH-6. I am wondering if there are lessons to be learned from the relatively low over-performance in Mahoning. Was there more GOTV/postcarding in other areas? I know Postcards to Voters got through about 60 % of his list. It seems like, if there's a shift in the reddest areas, maybe there's more to be done in what seems like likelier areas in November.

Might I point out that Columbiana County is where the train derailment occurred. Democrats would have a very hard sell there for something which was not their fault.

Extremely encouraging. Thanks!

If the Democrats want/need Mahoning county to do better, they need to do better by Mahoning county. They can start by actually showing up and letting the people know, in person, they have not been forgotten, because that’s what the people there believe.

Hopefully enough people over there will volunteer to door knock with the coordinated campaign. Gotta reach those tuned out folks.
