Thanks to David talking to Simon Rosenberg’s Hopium Substack community! I was on that call last night, what a BEAUTIFUL FEELING in Ohio shared by so many outside your state. Let’s ride this wave of pro democracy across the country with Blue grassroots organizing!
TY Ohio! Abundant thanks to Mr. Pepper for all his information & encouragement to the grassroots. As a postcard-writer, one wonders at times if the cards even are delivered. Please see "American Midnight" about past "failures to deliver", i.e. outright censorship. As a former Cuyahoga Co. resident, I was uplifted to hear a D say that "the old coalition is working". TY also for the Zoom--that reinforced emphatically a sense of community. Invaluable.
David Pepper, you wisdom and commitment and excellent leadership has made all of our efforts worthwhile. I am so grateful to you and for you. I give gifts of your books all the time and am recruiting more and more people to join Blue Ohio...we can make this happen!
A great win instead. I take particular pride in Greene County defeating the measure by over 500 votes since Gov DeWine is from here. I also learned a handy dandy tip on Twitter last night - LaRose rearranged = A loser. Perfection!
But I can't help but wait for the other shoe to drop - you know they've got a back up plan ready to launch.
