Breathtaking is a massive understatement! This is nothing short of robbery; stealing from the taxpayers to subsidize Catholic indoctrination. This is what the Christo-fascist have been dreaming of for years, and the smugness of this letter should infuriate every sane person left in the state of Ohio!!

Sometimes I think that religion is profoundly immoral and wicked... nothing to do with spirituality...

This letter written by John Scaaf a well respected lawyer I know, addresses public school issues in Kentucky. It was recently published warning the public of the tactics we will see in January.

Kentucky’s legislature is pushing the same agenda with private schools as Ohio. In Kentucky there is still time to change the outcome, so we don’t repeat what’s going on in Ohio.

I’m wondering if this subsidized religious education isn’t a violation of separation of church and state?

I just keep writing postcards to Ohio voters... and sometimes I scream silently or into the abyss.

Well, hey Why don't these programs require a special property tax levy, unconnected with the public school funding, to fund them? Well, we know why. But if they are going to exist at all, they should.

This is part of the plan in red states to get rid of public education once and for all. It’s in the GQP’s interest to keep the populace ignorant and angry.

Gerrymandered legislatures all over the south, in particular, are moving full speed ahead with dismantling our public schools by starving them of funding, support, and passing more and more anti trans and lgbtq+ laws that put everyone in horrible positions.

It’s Orwellian in Florida with all the new restrictions on what can be taught.

I’m in NC and a voucher scheme that the GQP has been after for years has finally passed.

Cristofascism may be headed to a town near you sooner than you think.
