Now that Project 2025 is so deeply unpopular, Trump, Vance and their supporters are trying to distance themselves from it.
The effort is as dishonest as their lies about Springfield and the response to Hurricane Helene.
Media outlets have covered how much overlap there is between the authors of Project 2025 and Trump-world, including past and future cabinetry officials. And we all know how much Vance and Trump have praised Kevin Roberts, the plan’s quarterback — including Vance writing a forward for Roberts’ book (which they are now hiding until after the election).
But far deeper than that, as I explain in the VIDEO above, all you need to do is read the plans and words of each closely to see just how closely intertwined they all are:
In many cases, Project 2025 calls for a doubling down on things Trump already did or tried in his first administration;
In other cases, Trump/Vance and Project 2025 are promising the same policies;
In other cases, the worst and darkest promises being made are by Trump himself—such as mass deportation, invoking the Insurrection Act (ie. use the military to crack down on domestic protesters), and seeking revenge against those who’ve tried to hold him accountable. Project 2025 proposes ripping away key guardrails, which would then allow Trump to undertake his promised, disturbing plans.
So…don’t be fooled for a minute.
Trump, Vance, Project 2025 and the Republican platform are all deeply intertwined.
When they deny that, they are not only lying, they are simply assuming you will not read the fine print.
Well, I have, and it’s pretty damn clear what they have in store if they return to power.
And if you look around at the gerrymandered states of this nation, have no doubt that they will do what they are promising—because they already are!
