What Did We Learn About the Midterms? | Lisa Senecal & David Pepper

A recording from David Pepper and Lincoln Square's live video

There was so much to discuss about the midterms in our LIVE yesterday:

Share

  • We saw major wins in suburbs across Ohio, where many areas that were GOP strongholds just a few years ago have now flipped to blue—for school board and local races, and judgeships too

  • We also saw a perfect case study of what happens if you run everywhere, which Democrats did in every district in Virginia:

Voters moved toward Democrats in every corner of the state, and not only did Abigail Spanberger absolutely crush it for Governor, but the Democrats flipped 13 seats to get to a 64-36 majority.

Stunning.

  • Lisa and I also discussed the biggest problem for 2026 GOP candidates—that Trump still thinks everything is hunky dory and thinks anyone who says otherwise is a traitor

So the GOP team captain is suing to stop paying SNAP benefits and doesn’t want people campaigning on affordability:

And that spells opportunity for candidates in every corner of the nation.

Thank you P. J. Schuster, Katie Steedly Curling, Greg Rogers, Maureen Drews, Tamie Swain, and many others for tuning into my live video with Lincoln Square! Join me for my next live video in the app.
