Thank you, professor. Have so much respect for you, and your selfless work for well-being of Ohioans.

Those are encouraging news and show the power of people of Ohio.

It's never surprising nor shocking how everything that these grotesquely greedy people want to do is always about money and power disguised as religious and "freedom". These monsters will not be satisfied until everyone is poor, uneducated, and homeless so that it'll be easier to convert them for a loaf, and shelter.

The wet dreams of rethugliCons is to take away SS, Medicare and Medicaid, public education and any program that helps poor and elevate them from poverty lest the oligarchs will have steady supply of cheap labor forever.

Thank you for coming to Upper Arlington this Spring to be a part of the forum on vouchers. I learned a great deal and while I already disliked vouchers, what I heard enraged me to action. I wrote to all school board members and last night, I testified before the board. I'm so glad Upper Arlington chose to be on the right side of history this time.

Thank you for acknowledging who is really getting shit done. The volunteers. And to all those who stepped in to help get UA Schools to do the right thing. As we move forward in this messy Democracy, remember the fourth most powerful branch of government. It’s called THE PEOPLE.

I am in conversation with our district's board president about vouchers and the need to seriously consider signing onto the lawsuit. Our district is small and the numbers of students for whom vouchers are being used is also small but grew from 19 in 2023 to 57 in 2024. I let the president know of nearby districts that have already signed on and she has agreed to look at it.

I joined the Public School Strong movement (https://www.healtogethernc.org/public-school-strong-nc) which began last year in NC and is going national. By joining PSS I commit to recruiting others and attending board meetings to speak up in support of public education and help our district confront the many threats that it faces, including vouchers.

On a Facebook post announcing a meeting at the public library to educate parents about EdChoice Scholarships that is being sponsored by the county Catholic schools association I voiced my opposition to public funds being used to finance private tuition. I was distressed to find this announcement from a local nonprofit leader whose agency serves minority and low income citizens. People really do not understand this issue!
