So much of the “No on 1” campaign is misinformation.
And one of the most misleading assertions is that somehow the politicians who have been gerrymandering the state all these years—and will keep gerrymandering Ohio if Issue 1 fails—are “accountable.”
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The gerrymandered politicians who’ve led the districting process have neither been accountable to the people (because they are in previously gerrymandered districts that have removed almost all competition from Ohio politics) nor the law (they violated the Ohio Constitution 7 times to rig our current, illegal districts).
As the video above explains, just how unaccountable these people are may shock you.
Bottom line: the last people in Ohio we want drawing the districts are the very politicians in those districts, especially when there is currently no way to hold them accountable for all the damage they’re doing.
Vote Yes on Issue 1! Fire the politicians from the process.
