These education cuts are worst kind of 'cut off your nose to spite your face' move imaginable. As China pours money into education and is leading the world in computer and AI technology, electric vehicles, and alternative energy solutions, under republican 'leadership' this country is walking away, handing over our competitive edge without a fight. Republicans at all levels of government are turning the United States into a second-class country.
For perhaps the first time in our history, one party is so addicted to its extreme ideology and worship of its political leader, that it's willing to make the next generation less educated, less competitive, and less prepared for good-paying jobs than the current generation. They're willing to hand their grandchildren a country with fewer opportunities and bleaker prospects than their parents and grandparents had. This is generational warfare, and it's shameful.

Trump and his minions seem to be focussed on raising a nation of ignorants, which can be later easily swayed by the authorities. Frightening.
