While I agree 100% with @David Pepper that we need to be registering voters 24/7 - we are behind so approaching the work with a strategy is also needed…. During the 2024 Election cycle we over preformed registering voters and moving new voters to the polls - check out the case study … “Part Two: Data Driven Voter Registration with Civitech” - reach out if you have questions - Let’s get to work - adopt a precinct!!!

Recap our Goals:

➡️ Register 20% of contacted potential unregistered Democrats in each district. (PUD)

➡️ Move 80% of newly registered voters to the polls in each district.

Outcome:

✅ Register 34.% in Batch 1 & Register 32.9 % in Batch 2

✅ Moved 74.9% of newly registered voters to the polls from Batch One and moved 71.9% of new registered voters to the polls from Batch Two.

Despite a national trend of declining voter turnout, our program bucked the trend and outperformed Civitech's other voter registration programs nationwide, which averaged a 70% turnout. Although we aimed for an 80% turnout among newly registered voters, our consistent data-driven efforts across multiple fronts paid off, driving success even in a challenging environment.

Excellent idea! Years ago we did nonpartisan voter registration but hoped to attract “our” people by using political signs. We still registered and turned in all the registrations as required by law of course but we knew how to encourage and follow up on those likely to vote our way.

I hope you have the opportunity to speak everywhere about this! Meidas and Lincoln Square and the Contrarian, especially!

Not to ask a stupid question, what do they need to proactively do. And we need some “frigging” leaders in congress!

We are pretty discouraged with democratic leadership.

On a positive note, there are surely other registered Republicans out there like my husband and I, who have voted Democratic in the last three presidential elections. We may appear red in the statistics, but our hearts are blue.

It can ✊ and people are standing up to the regime. It won't be like it is now for long the tide is turning.
