Amid a busy week, two podcasts I recorded several weeks back were rolled out this week. Both involved interesting conversations, covering new ground.
First is a conversation with Alex Lovit of The Kettering Foundation, who hosts a podcast called The Context. Alex asked some really thoughtful questions I’d never encountered before, so you’ll find it interesting. Also, Alex has interviewed a number of true champions of democracy for this podcast, so I recommend listening to those as well:
Take a listen HERE if you have a chance.
Second, I got to finally meet and talk with one of the savviest political commentators on social media — “Politics Girl.”
Trust me, you’ll enjoy this:
Enjoy your Saturday!
PoliticsGirl is one of my favorites -so I listened to that one yesterday! I will take a listen to the other one too!
Listening in from France where the political tensions are often palpable and Putin/Orban influence probably is seeping into the right here. Maybe I haven’t looked enough, but I yearn to find commentators here in France as rich in substance and connections as those I follow on Substack. If people I meet here are open to understanding what’s happening in the US I imagine I should be able to talk intelligently about similarities and differences in France.
