The Toledo Blade: AARP poll: Dems hold slight leads in Ohio gubernatorial, U.S. Senate races
“One concerning sign for Republicans in this data is the motivation edge has flipped since 2024,” Mr. Hogan said, noting that his firm’s data showed Republicans held a six-point lead in motivation at that time. “Now, Democrats hold a six-point edge.”
Bob Ward, a partner at Republican polling firm Fabrizio Ward, said rising prices and affordability are clearly driving the election in Ohio at this time.
“Affordability dominates independents and swing voters — groups that are absolutely crucial for either party to win,” Mr. Ward said.
“When you look at the balance for Senate and governor, both Brown and Acton have significant leads among affordability voters,” Mr. Ward said.

Paid for by Ohioans for Amy Acton and David Pepper
We wish Amy the best! She will make a great governor!
I followed Brown for many years in the senate. I was heartbroken when he lost to Husted. Thankfully he decided to run again. He is what is needed.
We need a democrat in the governor’s office.DeWine is a wimp.
