Iβm District 9! Iβm a conservative and I love Marcy! American Action Network has a barrage of LYING ads going against her. I write to them regularly to call them out!
Thanks for the great interview! Re. those incumbent Republicans sitting on their butts in their districts, running unopposed and when termed out, flipping to the senate and running again . . . Jim Jordan is a perfect example.
That creep has been in elected power for 18 years. He lives in Urbana, north of Dayton. This morning I was reading an article discussing a new book, "Paper Girl," by Beth Macy. It is about her childhood, growing up poor in Urbana. (She previously wrote a highly acclaimed book about the opioid crisis.)
Point being, Urbana is a Republican city that is divided between the haves and have-nots. They do not speak the same language and quite frankly the former don't even KNOW how the other half is forced to live/survive.
The Haves make sure that Jim Jordan is elected. Every single time. Mr. Jordan performs like a trained monkey for his monied interests and they go rah rah. The poor are dissociated from this entire mechanism.
The only possible solution to this rigged situation is to primary every single Republican. For Democrats to run in every single district. And the ODP is part of the problem, sitting on their minority butts and corporate war chest, pulling their paychecks, and primarying progressive and small donation candidates who don't toe the party line. We must reform the Ohio Democratic Party as well.

I learned alot from Congressman Landsman. Thanks! I wish Dave Joyce (OH-14) was as accessible. We're going to fight to flip Dave's seat!
The first step has been made. I repeat (I found no better one) the Chesterton quote I employed for the 50501 Movement.
βThe high tide!" King Alfred cried.
"The high tide and the turn!
As a tide turns on the tall grey seas,
See how they waver in the trees,
How stray their spears, how knock their knees,
How wild their watchfires burn!β
