David, We need you in Bloomington, IN. There are many opportunities to connect with voters here. Are you videocasting on a hand held smartphone?

I am President of the Monroe County Democrats' Club. We do not have a speaker for the Sept 16 noon meeting. I can also talk to Morgenstern's Bookstore about an author presentation later that day. My phone number is 9518808410.

Dr. Acton would be an energetic, amazing governor for Ohio. I had a medical board license for 40 years, not as a physician, but I know a bit about what doctors have to do to juggle forms and connect with patients at the same time (good doctors anyway), all while trying to work with an overburdened, over-privatized system unlike any else in the developed world.

That's a topic for another conversation. Right now, once Dr. Acton has a little more polish, calms down a little for the bucolic Ohio audiences, and CONNECTS, it will make a huge difference. It's really hard, esp. for a woman right now, if you are fighting the system. It's critical to remember that the right wing bullies she's running against have a predator's sense for vulnerability and will go for the jugular if she has no defenses to come back at them.

I really appreciate the vulnerability otherwise . . . maybe it will finally be the time when Ohioans realize that you DON'T treat people like that. That would be amazing.

Please try to connect w/ as many Ohioans as you can, Doc, like Mamdami has done. The ODP has not done that enough, but relied on donors too much. It makes an enormous difference, if you get out in the field and shake hands and meet folks.

People in western Ohio are a different breed, as David can testify. But they will have problems with the Trump budget too, and Ramaswamy will wear that ugly brand. Don't let him forget it for one minute!

Dr Acton: Those Ohioans looking for “breathing room” HAD breathing room under President Biden. They would’ve HAD breathing room under President Harris.

But no, they voted for the felon, in droves. They bombarded the polls to vote for a felon, a rapist, a thief. And they KNEW this. But still.

So with due respect, I disagree with your analysis of Ohio’s voter complaints.

Rather than sympathize with these lying folks, ask them gently then why did they vote for the one person (and I use the word “person” generously here) who vowed to take all of their breathing room away?

If you don’t get tough with these people, they’ll still not vote for you AND they’ll blame their predicament on Democrats.

Seen this movie

Know how it ends.

When are we going to start asking the Maga voters what they want to see happen specifically that would avoid the welfare losses in this bill?

They voted for him. They’re not gonna get what he told them they would so how are they gonna get what they voted for ?
