". . . stripping of the pension board from control of the teachers and retirees who built it" is a great phrase and resonated with me.

Huffman, DeWine and their Wall Street pals tried their best, didn't they?

Thanks to the AAUP, OFT, OEA, David Pepper, the Ohio STRS Member Only Forum and the STRS Ohio Watchdogs Facebook groups this attempt to strongarm Ohio's teachers bit the dust!

Would the single subject issue apply to the Narcan bill, also, where they slipped in unlimited release time for religious study during the school day?

Until the voters care, does it make a difference. The state is so gerrymandered it is choking on that knot

Thank you. I will write/call the guilty parties.

The same happened in the neighbouring country Argentina, some time back. The funds due for pensioners were employed to cover expenses. Quite a scandal.

We need to vote out all Ohio republicans, especially in the state legislature and to the congress and Senate. At the state level They are not lawful, using gerrymandered maps in defiance of the courts, using misleading, confusing language on the referendum ballots to prevent the majority from being successful, and at the national level would throw the majority voters out if the presidential vote ever went to the states.

Ohio Republicans are merely following the lawless habits of Trump and his cronies in Washington in their efforts to produce one party, one man rule.
