They are so desperate about losing power, Trump, Vance and their lemmings can’t stop trying to rig districts. After last night’s close election in Tennessee, they are running more scared than ever.
And Indiana continues to be an obsession of their’s, so they’re trying it again. They just can’t take no for an answer, and the next week will likely determine the outcome.
Yesterday, I talked to Indiana Senate Democratic leader Shelli Yoder about what’s happening there…the stakes, the timing, and what you can do to help stop it. As she explains so well, this is a battle between Hoosiers and Washington insiders.

Following is an update on the details playing out, including some of what we discussed:
This is the map of the districts that first emerged Monday, and is now being pushed by Trump and Washington Republicans:
The map below makes it far more clear what they’re doing—eliminating the two remaining Democratic districts by splitting up urban communities, including splitting Indianapolis into four (!) different districts. Classic voter suppression, out of the Jim Crow era.
Here’s how those districts stack up:
As Senator Yoder explains above, this map has managed to irk Republicans in both rural Indiana as well as those in Indianapolis:
5. Sadly, a prime strategy in pressuring GOP Senators to vote for this monstrous map is through threats of violence and “Swatting”:
6) The vote in the Indiana Senate will take place next week. Here is where things stand at the moment:
In a Senate of 50 members, the key number is 26.
There are 10 Democratic Senators in the Indiana Senate who oppose the rigged map.
So to stop this map, we need 16 of the 40 Republican Senators of Indiana to join those 10.
According to democracy advocates in Indiana, the good news is there are already 10 firm NO Republican votes — which means we need 6 more.
There are 15 Republicans who have not publicly declared their view…so we need 6 of those 15.
At least five of those 15 have been “swatted.”
What you can do? Here are two lists of the Republican Senators who are potentially in play:
As we discuss in the video, if you’re in Indiana, please call these Senators and urge them to oppose the Washington-insider plan to rig Indiana against its own voters.
And if you’re from outside Indiana, reach out to any Hoosiers you know to make sure they are speaking out against this.
This is a critical battle, far beyond the two seats they are trying to steal. We must show that violence and threats of violence do NOT get you your way in American politics. And a Trump defeat in Indiana (a state controlled by Republicans) would be a huge symbolic victory for the bipartisan coalition standing up for democracy everywhere.
