I've read all the Jack Sharpe novels and can attest that: a) They are great reads; b) They hew very closely to the submerged realities of an electoral system vulnerable to both foreign and domestic interference.
As a student of election forensics (my non-fiction contribution being the book "CODE RED: Computerized Elections and the War on American Democracy"), I caution that we dismiss David's novels as breezy fiction at our own risk. We've reached a place, in large part courtesy of Trump's Stop the Steal, where our elections can be challenged without having been rigged and also rigged without being subject to challenge. Be prepared for both scenarios this time around.
I've loved all of the books. They are instruction manuals about how the bad guys can go around impacting and thwarting the outcome of the election processes. Thanks for your insights! And they are great reads!
Have a wonderful signing event David! I will be looking for you in NE Ohio on your book tour. Thank you for your excellent work on this platform. I often share them with my family and friends. I even got my nephew, a Poly Sci major at University of Dayton hooked on them!
Keep on doing what you do ... we need you! I live in West Chester and wish I could attend your book talk & reading on Tuesday, but I am 73 years old and battling a serious case of Covid at present. Still, I will be there in spirit. Thanks again for all you do.
Goodness, David, I had no idea you were a novelist as well! I have your non-fiction “Laboratories of Autocracy” with the wonderful steps the later chapters provide for reclaiming democracy. I think there must be at least ten of you to have accomplished so much.
I haven't read these but am about to add them to the pile on and around my nightstand.
Separately, other than vocally countering anyone supporting this garbage, is there anything we can do to help the Haitian community in Springfield and elsewhere? My husband was born in Cincinnati and raised in Lancaster, OH and still has relatives throughout the state. We are now in Seattle and still feel our OH ties and would like to help. We consistently donate to Sherrod Brown and OH Dems. Anything we can do to address this immediate issue? Appreciate your input, as well as that of anyone in this Pepperspectives Community.
What a lovely (written out, not visual) Sunday posting. Thanks, David. Have great fun on the book signing swing, especially collecting and curating new stories!

I searched for your book in my library app and they dont have it in audio. I hope that changes! Thanks for your perspectives!

It is a great novel, David, and would make a great Netflix drama *IF* we were not living a variant as a national nightmare...
We need to *ALL* WAKE UP!
Thank you for what you do!
